Costco Depot Expansion Complete Neither snow nor sleet keeps SEI from getting the job done. The proof? Our recent completion of Costco’s depot expansion in Aurora, Colorado. Begun in August, 2021, this project has added 277,500 sf to an already huge facility. With 150,000 sf for e-commerce or online fulfillment, 67,500 sf for cold storage, and 60,000 dedicated to dry goods, Costco can now serve even more stores and members throughout the region. According to Bryan Weatherford, Project Manager, there were plenty...Continue Reading
Regardless of how many Costco warehouses we put up, every new project is exciting to us. Like the 153,833 sf warehouse we’re gearing up for in Athens, Georgia. We anticipate breaking ground on May 9, with an anticipated construction timeline of 130 days. But we’re working to hand over the keys to Costco earlier than that. “With supply chain issues and labor shortages nationwide, every construction firm is currently facing challenges,” states Byron Hood, Project Manager. “But SEI...Continue Reading
Morristown Airport Enjoys Smooth Landing When we set out to construct three separate hangers at the Morristown Regional Airport, we didn’t realize we were building our new headquarters along with it. Our 130,000 sf hanger will now also house SEI’s corporate offices. With SEI working all over the country—not to mention our key personnel flying to job sites—it makes sense to be able to step out of the office and directly into the cabin of our waiting aircraft....Continue Reading
Here we grow again. Or, to be more accurate, here Costco grows again. We’re just here to help Costco every step of the way. In 2017, we expanded the Costco cold depot in Atlanta. But with Costco being so popular among its growing membership, the current facility needed to grow. On March 21st, we started a 63,000 sf addition to the cold distribution center in the refrigerated area. The effort means erecting new tilt-up concrete walls, a total of...Continue Reading
ALPS Keeps Giving with Its Holiday Marketplace Day in and day out, ALPS does an amazing job providing adult day care for our community in Morristown. While we at SEI support ALPS from January through December, we wanted to wrap up things with style at the end of the year. For the ALPS Holiday Marketplace, Kayla Trachsel, our Office Manager, went all out. She decorated a Christmas tree for the fundraising auction. Using a fun Coastal Christmas theme...Continue Reading
