Construction is about timing, about putting the right people and right materials in the right place. Daniel Pittman’s tenacity and attention to detail are at the heart of our success. Whether supervising project managers and subcontractors, or hammering out schedules, Daniel is our front line when it comes to timely progress and quality. At the same time, Daniel ensures accuracy in proposal writing and oversees all risk management for the company. Finally, he is responsible for licensing, permit­ting, and final inspections. DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Southeast Industrial Construction, LLC (SEI), Morristown, Tennessee

Oversees the daily activities of $30M general contractor from overseeing project managers and subcontractors to approving schedules, pre-construction and changes to contract documents, all to ensure each customer is satis­fied with both our progress and the finished product. Daniel is responsible for proper licensure, insurance, and permitting. This leadership ensures achievement of all project milestones and attainment of certificate of occupancy for delivery to the client.

REGIONAL OFFICE MANAGER

National Construction Company, Birmingham, Alabama

In charge of regional office with $200M annual billings focused on large manufacturing projects in the southeastern United States. Lead a team of 23 that encompassed Business Development, Estimators, Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers and administrative support. After corporate office divided sales and operations into two positions, served as Director of Operations for the Southeast Regional Office with a focus on operations and program/project management.

Drax Biomass – Wood Pellet Storage Facility / 2014
Port Allen, Louisiana, Project Director, $50M

Selected to provide design-build services for a wood pellet storage and shipping facility at the Port of Greater Baton Rouge. This complex project included the erection of two 120-feet-tall domes for wood pellet storage, conveyors, a ship loader, truck unloading building, rail unloading building and a control building. With storage, mechanical housing, railroad and truck unloading, transfers to cargo ships, aeration systems and more than a half-mile of conveyors.

Costco Wholesale Corporation – Warehouse / 2012
Concordville, Pennsylvania, Senior Project Manager, $11M

As part of a developer project site work, including building pad, already complete. Pre-engineered 146,000 sf warehouse including a full bakery, meat, deli and produce depart­ments; and a fuel center. The warehouse includes 3,500 sf of cold storage space, 5,000 sf of coolers, an office, tire center, and an equipment mezzanine. The building construction consists of masonry with splitface, quick brick 10” CMU and metal panels, 6” slab on grade; PNA diamond dowel system/diamond basket assembly, metal roof on insulation and steel joists, dock levelers, 19 package roof-top units, 13 exhaust fans, 7 unit heaters, 3 VAVs and 1 gas heating unit, all protected by a wet automatic sprinkler system. This project’s construction schedule was 110 days from foundations to the Grand Opening.

Completed a 42,000 sf expansion onto existing manufacturing plant in Clanton, Alabama

Medline Distribution Center Remodel / 2011
Lithia Springs, Georgia, Senior Project Manager, $0.5M

Client remodeled a 15,000 sf distribution center in Lithia Springs, Georgia. Located next to manufacturing facility, renovations were completed within 5 months including improvements to office spaces on both sides of the build­ing, repair of over 100 dock doors, upgrading standard lighting fixtures to LED fixtures and completing a joint seal to the asphalt parking.

This 146,000 sf location required extensive onsite and offsite work as part of its scope. The pre-engineered warehouse included a full bakery, meat, deli and produce depart­ments; and a fuel center. Douglasville (Atlanta), Georgia, Senior Project Manager, $10M

Converted an existing 593,404 sf distribution center into an adult diaper manufacturing plant. The existing load bearing tilt-up concrete panel structure includes interior 8” CMU and 8” metal stud with gypsum walls and a single-ply ballasted EPDM membrane roof. The renovations to the original facility included removing existing concrete slabs to install interior footings, utilities and equipment foundations.

The 143,057 sf pre-engineered warehouse includes 3,500 sf of cold storage space as well as an office, tire center, and an equipment mezzanine. The building consists of metal panels, 6” non-reinforced concrete floors, standing seam roof, dock levelers, 18 package roof-top units, 23 exhaust fans all protected by a wet automatic sprinkler system.
