The Project Manager has the responsibility of the estimating, planning, procurement, scheduling and execution of a project. The Project Manager must be a flexible and adaptable team-player, as well as have strong communication and client service skills. The Project Manager reports to the Director of Operations.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
- Establish & maintain relationship with Owner, Architect, Engineers & Subcontractors
- Estimating the project;
- Management of project permit process;
- Preparations and procurement of all subcontractors & vendors;
- Developing & updating the construction schedule based on project team input, subcontractor progress and materials delivery;
- Produce 3-week look ahead and other detailed short-term schedules as needed;
- Receive, review, forward and track status of submittals;
- Initiate, prepare, review, track and distribute RFIs;
- Change management systems, including soliciting, receiving, reviewing, and preparing quotations and change orders;
- Preparation of monthly owner pay applications;
- Review & approve subcontractor pay applications;
- Preparation of monthly owner project status reports, as required;
- Leads & schedules project meetings;
- Manages the completion of project close-out;
- Communicate and enforce Health and Safety Program

- Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products;
- Knowledge of MS Project or Primavera;
- Broad understanding of industry;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Basic math/accounting skills;
- Functions effectively as part of a team;
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times;
- Ability to understand and follow directions;
- Good time management skills and organizational skills;
- Ability to read drawings and specifications;
- Must have a valid driver’s license and pass a pre-employment drug screen
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree – Construction Management preferred
