Another Costco going up In Indian Land, SC

Charlotte, North Carolina, keeps growing. And right across the state line in South Carolina, Costco is growing right along with it. And SEI and Brian Donnellan are there every step of the way.

The new Costco warehouse in Indian Land is underway with completion slated to finish before the October 30 grand opening date. At 162,100 sf with a fuel station and part of a larger retail shopping center, SEI is proud to play a part in this area’s growth. Of course, into every project a little rain must fall, and Indian Land is no exception.

“During construction, this area has seen historic rainfall totals, double the usual amounts for the period from May through August,” Brian offered. “As a result, we’ve had to work doubly hard to stay ahead of the weather.” At the same time, Brian and SEI’s team on the ground has needed to work hand-in-glove with the retail developer. “Every job is a challenge,” Brian added, “And this one is no different. However, there’s nothing we haven’t been able to overcome.”

By all indications, the Grand Opening for the Indian River Costco warehouse will take place on October 30, right on schedule. After all, when it comes to construction, complications are just part of the job.
