SEI Welcomes Byron Hood, Project Manager

We believe in long-term relationships. Clients. Vendors. And, in Byron Hood’s case, trusted team members.

Byron joined SEI in early March, 2021. But we’re not exactly strangers to one another. Over the years, SEI and Byron have collaborated on any number of projects. And the more we worked together, the more we respected each another’s way of working.

So with Byron joining us as project manager, we are excited to offer you his extraordinary knowledge, experience, and relentless insistence on quality work. In fact, Byron already is proving his mettle on our new Costco warehouse project in Garner, North Carolina.

That’s because Byron brings thirty years of construction experience to SEI, finishing projects large and small all over the eastern United States. He earned his Bachelor of Building Construction from the University of Florida (As a Tennessee-based company, we’ll overlook that) and his Florida license shortly after that. Then he went on to earn his MBA from the University of South Florida. So you can rely on Byron to understand the ins and outs of the construction business.

When he’s not keeping projects on track and under budget, Byron stays on the go in Tampa Bay area, Florida. Married 31 years to Elizabeth—and with four beautiful children–he and his wife enjoy the great outdoors with snow skiing, golf, and fun with friends.
