Costco Skylight and Roofing Sprayfoam
Costco is always looking for ways to drive down costs, as well as increase safety and comfort. For years, warehouse skylights offer lowered lighting costs, even despite higher offsetting HVAC costs. Yet when advances in LED technology slashed lighting costs, skylights suddenly proved an unnecessary expense.
The solution? To reduce heat exchange through skylights, Costco asked us to spray foam roofs and add silicon sealants. On five distribution centers and eleven stores so far, our team of experts made quite an impact. Spending roughly a week at each location, we helped Costco lower interior temperatures by as much as six-to-seven degrees in each of its facilities—and lowered overall HVAC costs while we were at it.
Just as importantly, we paid close attention to environmental issues, keeping a pristine job site and not disrupting client operations. The results were so dramatic, Costco has asked us to address more roofs around the country. Further proof how we stay on top of client needs at all time.
