SEI Helps Luxury Furniture Retailer Expand To Brentwood, Tennessee
When Stock And Trade, an up-and-coming interiors retailer, chose to open their newest store, they weren’t content with any construction company. To announce their presence in Brentwood, Tennessee, the retailer chose Southeast Industrial Construction for their discerning eye and keen desire for quality work.
Michael Carey of property owner Carey Properties, understands the importance of craftsmanship on a project such as this. “Stock and Trade is a retailer that requires high visibility and quality in every single facet of the building’s construction. Southeast has a long history in retail construction, working for some of the most demanding customers in the sector.”
The new location in Brentwood Place Shopping Center converts part of what was previously a Kroger grocery store into a breathtaking venue with clean lines, modern sensibility, and classic style. Spanning 26,500 sf of interior space, and 31,000 sf total including under canopy, the project has a number of demands, including:
- Demo of Existing Facade and Walk
- Refrigeration Demo and Slab Infill
- Selective Mechanical Demi and Roof Demo
- New Facade, storefront, and expanded walk with ADA-compliant ramp
- New TPO Roof
- New Mechanical And Gas Piping
- Electrical Re-Work to accommodate furniture display and Sales, demo, and design space
“It will definitely be a challenge to take a more utilitarian space and transform it into an upscale design center,” adds Kenny Noah, President. “But we’re up to it, without a doubt.”
Work on the newest Stock And Trade has just begun, with the project expected to last several months.
