Jim Rauch, Senior Project Manager at SEI

With our new Senior Project Manager,
Nothing is up in the air.

The bigger the project, the more complex it becomes. So when it comes to getting things off the ground, managing timetables, and dealing with the unexpected, who is better suited than a former air traffic controller?

Meet Jim Rauch, Senior Project Manager at SEI. Early in life, he served a stint in the Air Force, making sure aircraft got where they needed to go. That meant juggling multiple priorities and, if need be, turning on a dime. That kind of training helped Jim earn his wings in construction over the past forty years, handling large scale projects in forty-eight states, Canada, and Japan.

We’re very excited to bring Jim on board at SEI, and he’s equally glad to be here.

“I’ve worked with SEI on numerous projects in the Southeast, and they’re a great fit for me. SEI has an outstanding reputation. They take care of their people, they live up to their promises, and they maintain exceptional standards for the work. This is a great place to be.”

But Jim isn’t all work all the time. He and his wife, Vickie, love scuba diving. So much, in fact, that Jim has earned his Master Diver certification, while Vickie has earned her Advanced Diver certification. And if you ask, he’ll tell you all about their favorite places to visit: Belize, Puerto Rico, and the Caymans—with Cozumel topping their list. And when Jim isn’t working or diving, he’s spending time with his five kids and fourteen grandchildren.

Jim, so glad you’ve joined the team at SEI. Whether it’s up in the air or firmly on the ground, you ensure that all we do has the smoothest of landings.
